24hr Remote Technical Support
24hr Remote Technical Support; Remote internet connectivity provides CC1 customers with 24 hours seven days a week technical support from our fully staffed service department. 24hr support is free for the one year warranty period. Post warranty service contracts are available.
Cut-Off Control
The Intelli-Cut II Cut-Off Control; Throughout the press run, Intelli-Cut II's digital cameras monitor small register marks on each printed ribbon allowing the system to precisely measure and instantaneously correct circumferential print-to-cut register variation.
Front-to-Back
Front to Back Register Control; On jobs where registering images on both the top and bottom of the web together are critical, the DRC 5000 has CC1 designed Front-to-Back register control technology.
Graphic User Interface
Graphic User Interface: The DRC 5000 User Interface displays a live video image of the register control mark pattern. Manual register control corrections can be entered at any time in exact .001" increments to correct for plate error on the press.

Motorization Packages
Motorization Packages; For presses with manual register mechanisms, CC1 provides a register motorization solution for sidelay and circumferential cylinder controls. CC1 motorization packages are designed with limit switches, limit warning indicator, gear box and electric brake. A "Smart Motor" option with encoder feedback signal is also available.
Register Marks
Register Marks: DRC 5000 reads very small and discreet register marks as small as .3mm in size. The register mark pattern can be read in either a horizontal or vertical orientation. The RGB filtering circuit in CC1 Smart camera allows for PMS colors, faint yellows and silvers to be easily detected on all substrates including non-white material.
Smart Camera
"Smart Camera"; Onboard Digital Signal Processing allows the each register control camera to function as a standalone computer on an Ethernet based communications network. Register variations are calculated internally to the camera and sent directly to the press via Ethernet rather than to a host computer for processing and then to the press. The net result is faster corrections times. Each camera is housed in a 4" x 4" sealed enclosure with a safety glass cover. Cameras are available with motorized or non-motorized camera traverse options
TRAM Total Register and Measurement
TRAM Total Register and Measurement; Records and provides time and date stamped register analysis reports for each press run. TRAM reports can be downloaded or data can be directly exported to a spreadsheet template and used to verify register quality, provide vital corrective maintenance information and to localize the causes of register errors. During the Startup and Training phase of an DRC 5000 installation TRAM reports are used for press fingerprinting to determine the "short term" register capability of the press. This data is then used to program or "tune" the register control system to match the register capability of the press.
Visionary II
Visionary II Digital Web Inspection System: The Visionary II employs high resolution (1280 x 960 pixels) digital color cameras on motorized traverses for real time web viewing. Areas of interest or "Sequence Points" can be selected by the operator from the touch screen display. When the Visionary II is in the "Automatic Mode" of operation the cameras will traverse to each location, capture an image and place it on an 18" viewing monitor for the operator.
